Responsibility for the entire investment lifecycle – from sourcing to closing
Active portfolio management: develop and implement value-creation strategies in the areas of growth acceleration, performance improvement, cash-flow measures and inorganic growth in close collaboration with the management teams of portfolio companies
Execution of complex M&A transactions
Requirements
University degree in Business Administration, Economics or a related quantitative discipline
Minimum 4–6 years of professional experience in strategy consulting
Comparable profiles (e.g., value-creation roles in Private Equity, Family Equity or Corporate M&A) will also be considered
Proven track record in developing and implementing business strategies, including strategy design, growth, operational and financial performance improvement, and inorganic growth / buy-and-build initiatives
Strong understanding of business models, competitive dynamics and market structures
Ability to synthesize complex analyses into clear, actionable insights for senior executives
Experience in M&A, valuation, financial modeling and due diligence is an advantage
Excellent written and verbal communication; confident in preparing decision materials and engaging with senior leadership and external advisors
Hands-on mentality; analytical and self-motivated team player with strong resilience under pressure
Empathetic and collaborative approach that fosters positive and productive relationships
Fluent in German and English
