About this role
Role Overview
Installation and operation of security tools in IT and OT environments, e.g., Microsoft Active Directory, EDR, NDR and cloud (Microsoft Azure)
Performing penetration tests on customer systems using recognized methodologies and frameworks such as OWASP and OSSTMM
Developing customer-specific security solutions as part of a holistic concept
Coordinating and supporting staff and students in our technical business units
Goal-oriented, structured teamwork, strong communication skills and willingness to present to customers
Requirements
Team player with commitment, a high sense of responsibility and good self-reflection
Excellent analytical thinking skills
Experience with common penetration-testing tools
Experience working with IT systems, preferably in IT operations
Solid understanding of common IT architectures and operating models (cloud, hybrid, agile project methodologies)
Solid understanding of common network protocols (Ethernet/IP, CIP, Modbus, OPC) and typical network topologies
Solid understanding of common cybersecurity frameworks for IT environments (ISO 27001, IT-Grundschutz / BSI IT Baseline Protection, CIS Controls)
Solid understanding of common cybersecurity frameworks for ICS/OT environments (IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82, Purdue Model)
A university degree is not required. Skills matter. Attitude matters more.
