Clarify questions about the operating principles of electrical and mechanical systems, repair methods, parts application, the use of workshop tools, and the information systems used for product diagnosis.
Perform diagnostics and guide distributors in resolving technical deviations in Scania products or services.
Modify product configurations according to approved technical specifications when requested by the customer.
Implement projects and processes aimed at improving technical support for Scania distributors and dealers.
Serve as a point of contact for one or more markets, handling topics relevant to distributors within the scope of technical support.
Participate in daily meetings with the GCS group in Sweden and other global units to find solutions for complex technical problems.
Undertake short-term exchanges at other GCS units to share knowledge, deliver training, and understand customer needs and local cultural aspects.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, or Automation).
Knowledge of automotive communication networks (CAN, Ethernet, DoIP).
Fluent English (daily contact with headquarters).
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Availability for occasional travel.
Intermediate Spanish is considered a plus due to frequent contact with countries in the Americas.
Specialization in electrified vehicles (BEV/Hybrid) is also considered a plus.
