Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
Comfortable working on the shop floor and with hands-on problem solving
Able to analyse process data and spot what needs improving
Knowledge of lean or continuous improvement methods (formal or learned on the job)
Good communicator – you can explain things simply without the jargon
