Senior Analog/Mixed Signal Design Engineer

Role Overview

• Perform analog and mixed signal circuit analysis, design, simulation, verification, and evaluation
• Create and present design/evaluation review documentation
• Interact with physical (layout) design engineers to optimize design performance metrics
• Perform lab evaluation and debug of state-of-the-art pipeline ADCs
• Work with a lab technician to setup and maintain test equipment
• Interface with Product/Design and Apps Engineering as well as Marketing as needed

Requirements

• Master’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent; Ph.D. is a plus
• 3+ years industry experience
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Fluency with industry standard design tools including Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, EMX
• ADC architecture knowledge is highly desirable
• Good understanding of analysis, design, and simulation of transistor level blocks
• Good understanding of physical design (layout) of integrated circuits (ICs.)
• Familiarity with advanced FinFET CMOS technologies is highly desirable
• Familiarity with lab equipment such as signal generators, spectrum analyzers, etc.
• Strong lab and evaluation skills are very desirable
• Willing to learn and work on all phases of product development from feasibility to product release
