About the Role

Design and implement efficient and maintainable solutions, ensuring the best practices in software development.
Lead the development of robust, scalable, and high-performance micro-services architecture.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, product managers, and designers, to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient backend solutions.
Drive architectural decisions and contribute to the overall system design.
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between different components of our platform while ensuring API security, performance, and reliability.
Design and optimize database schemes and work closely with the database administrators to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
Identify and address performance bottlenecks in the backend systems and continuously optimize and improve the efficiency of existing code and systems.
Mentor team members when needed and contribute with meaningful reviews.

About You

5+ years experience in java software development.
2+ years engineering leadership experience.
Good understanding of system architecture, cloud services (AWS) and scalable infrastructure.
Experience with unit/integration/e2e testing (test driven development is a plus).
Proficiency with REST APIs, both in implementing and consuming the interfaces.
Solid experience with relational databases, CI/CD flows, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Excellent communication skills (fluent in English, both written and spoken), with a self-motivated and autonomous mindset.
