Lead bench validation activities of silicon ICs during product development
Analyze product specifications and chip architecture to plan validation activities
Develop detailed post-Silicon characterization plans and coordinate with design, systems, and test teams to execute them
Design and develop schematics and layouts for validation boards
Create and automate bench setups to streamline characterization and testing
Perform system-level and parametric tests on silicon ICs
Identify, debug, and resolve device
and setup-related issues independently
Prepare detailed reports of validation results and present findings to stakeholders
Requirements
Master's degree or PhD in electrical engineering or similar is required
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience including validation of silicon ICs, depending on educational credentials
Experience with power devices such as DC-DC converters and Efuse is a plus
Hands-on experience with bench automation languages: Python (preferred), LabVIEW, and TestStand
Working knowledge of laboratory bench equipment, automated bench setups, and embedded systems such as Arduino or Raspberry Pi
Experience in PCB design and layout using tools like KiCAD and Altium
Experience with statistical analysis tools such as Spotfire
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent verbal and written communication
Open-minded, eager to learn, and able to think creatively
