Manage and lead all commercial and procurement activities and employees within KBR’s Australian Defence and Security Solutions (ADSS) business in APAC.
Oversee all strategic commercial issues and development and execution of commercial business strategies to help achieve business growth.
Involve oversight of all contractual, procurement and financial activities and relationships related to commercial functions, including all subcontractors and clients.
Address commercial risk management and issues relating to intellectual property and technical data.
Oversee Contract Performance Reviews and provide input to contract reviews with clients when necessary.
Contribute to presentations, financial models and reports to provide strategic logic and recommended pathways for major initiatives.
Analyse market trends and customer needs to identify new ways to optimise ADSS commercial strategy.
Lead collaboration with lines of business and their commercial specialists to ensure positive outcomes, specifically with on contract growth and performance against contracts.
Participate in key industry and global commercial meetings to provide recommendations and inputs on business strategies.
Build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders internally and externally at the most senior and strategic levels possible.
Lead commercial governance and compliance across the ADSS business.
Requirements
A degree in Law (preferred), Commerce, Business, or similar.
Extensive previous & successful experience in commercial strategy within the defence and government markets.
Extensive knowledge of contracting in the Australian defence and government markets, including ASDEFCON.
Extensive knowledge of export controls in the Defence environment, including ITAR.
Proven ability to lead large teams and get the best out of staff.
Proven ability to effectively manage relationships with key senior stakeholders both internally and externally in a Defence/Defence Industry environment.
High level of commercial and financial acumen combined with ability to influence executive decisions.
Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government security clearance.
