Lead development projects while actively contributing hands-on to the systems
Develop new spectrometer concepts and optical designs
Define requirements and develop system architectures
Build and test prototypes in the laboratory
Analyze and optimize spectral resolution, efficiency, and stray light
Coordinate development with mechanical, electronics, firmware, and production engineers
Collaborate with external suppliers
Support new products from concept through series production

Degree in Physics, Optics, Photonics, or a comparable discipline
Several years of professional experience (approx. 3–5 years) as a project manager in the field of optical systems or spectroscopy
Solid practical experience in assembling and testing optical systems
Strong interest in independently implementing and advancing technical projects
Structured, solution-oriented working style and a strong affinity for hands-on development work
Excellent German and English communication skills, both written and spoken
