Join customer calls to learn their live video workflows, pain points, and success criteria.
Support responses to RFIs/RFPs with accurate technical detail.
Help design customer solutions using the Zixi Platform, including contribution, distribution, and monitoring workflows.
Map customer requirements to Zixi capabilities and recommend configuration options.
Set up and run product demos (live or recorded), tailored to the customer’s use case.
Assist in building POCs—installing software, configuring environments, running tests, and documenting results.
Provide hands-on support during trials and early deployments (configuration, performance tuning, and issue triage).
Work closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to ensure customer feedback and requirements are captured.
Build expertise in Zixi systems, orchestration tools, and partner integrations.
Requirements
1–3 years in a technical, customer-facing role (solutions engineering, technical support, network/video engineering, QA, systems engineering, or similar).
Foundational understanding of IP networking (TCP/UDP, multicast, routing basics, firewalls).
Comfort working in Linux and/or Windows environments (command line, installing software, reading logs).
Interest in live video workflows and streaming technologies.
Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong organization skills—able to manage tasks, deadlines, and follow-through.
Exposure to live production, broadcast, or streaming environments including contribution, distribution, OTT and CDN workflows.
Familiarity with video codecs, containers, and protocols (H.264/H.265, SRT, RTP, MPEG-TS, RTMP).
Experience creating and documenting system architectures using tools such as Lucid Chart or similar.
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Basic scripting experience (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for testing, automation, or troubleshooting.
Experience supporting proof-of-concepts (POCs) or technical evaluations.
Familiarity with content protection, rights enforcement, or SCTE-35 signaling.
