About this role

Model Li-ion battery-based energy storage subsystems, including state machines, closed-loop controls, and related building blocks.
Collaborate with systems and controls engineering teams to develop physics-based models, simulate system performance, and validate lab and field data.
Support DevOps in packaging and deploying system models for customer-facing applications.
Analyze large volumes of time-series data to identify patterns, validate assumptions, and derive actionable insights.
Participate in Agile software development practices, contributing to design reviews, sprint planning, and iterative releases.
Produce high-quality documentation and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.

Minimum 3 years of industry experience developing physics-based system models.
Demonstrated 2+ years of experience with MATLAB, Simulink, and Simscape libraries.
Hands-on experience with control systems modeling (PID loops, state machines, etc.).
Proficiency in Python for scientific computing and software development.
Experience in Linux-based environments.
Familiarity with Jira, Git, or equivalent collaboration tools.
Strong background in power systems and inverter modeling is preferred.
Experience with battery-based system modeling is preferred.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within diverse, global teams.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. required.
