Administer and manage Active Directory environments, including user account provisioning, group policies, permissions, and trusts
Ensure proper configuration and maintenance of Active Directory, including replication, DNS, DHCP, and schema management
Troubleshoot and resolve Active Directory-related issues, including authentication, replication, and permissions
Implement security best practices for Active Directory, including password policies, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and role-based access control
Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments (2012, 2016, 2019, or newer)
Manage server patches, updates, and system performance monitoring
Ensure high availability and reliability of Windows Server environments by implementing backup strategies, disaster recovery, and system recovery processes
Automate server management tasks using PowerShell and other scripting tools
Oversee the deployment and management of cloud-based infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Implement cloud infrastructure automation, scaling, and cost optimization
Ensure system performance, security, and uptime in cloud environments
Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and virtual machines (VMs)
Implement and manage cloud security policies, including firewalls, security groups, and encryption
Apply security patches and updates to Windows Server and Active Directory environments
Implement and maintain security monitoring solutions to detect and respond to incidents
Ensure compliance with relevant security frameworks and industry best practices
Provide technical support for Active Directory, Windows Server, and cloud infrastructure-related issues
Diagnose and resolve technical problems across AD, Windows Servers, and cloud environments
Work closely with the IT support team to resolve incidents and service requests.
Requirements
BA/BS degree and 4-6 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
In-depth experience with AD administration, group policy management, replication, user and group management, and domain services
Strong expertise in managing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows Server environments
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Proficient in scripting with PowerShell, Python, or similar languages to automate system tasks and operations
Strong understanding of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VPNs) and security best practices for Windows and cloud environments
Experience with system monitoring tools and diagnosing complex technical issues
Strong ability to collaborate with IT teams and other departments to design and implement technical solutions.
