Role Overview
- Work closely with underwriters across multiple profit centres
- Support the quotation, bind and issuance processes across the full policy lifecycle
- Interact with external customers chasing up and/or querying closings
- Liaise with internal collections teams on unallocated cash queries
- Ensure adherence to governance and compliance procedures
- Participate in operational audits, disaster recovery, and business continuity exercises
Requirements
- Experience as an underwriting associate in general insurance
- Exposure to commercial lines products
- Solid MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Proven ability to work on multiple issues concurrently
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Able to work collaboratively with diverse groups
- Solid relationship management skills
- Valid rights to work in Australia
