Serves as the primary contact and subject matter expert (SME) for clinical applications and systems.
Manages and resolves complex application issues in coordination with SunState Medical Specialists.
Supports the development, implementation, and optimization of clinical application systems, including training, user support, and monitoring system usage.
Conducts end-user process audits and provides findings and recommendations to leadership.
Maintains deep knowledge of clinical system functionality, limitations, and operational workflows.
Acts as a resource for clinicians, managers, and staff on system capabilities and best practices.
Develops and delivers training and retraining on system modules to ensure proper use by physicians and staff, evaluating effectiveness as needed.
Establishes policies, procedures, and best practices for clinical application systems.
Leads system implementation and staff training for newly acquired practices.
Serves as a liaison between Sunstate Medical Specialists and field staff to ensure system functionality and workflows are properly implemented and maintained.
Coordinates implementations, identifies process improvements, and supports reporting and auditing activities.
Participates in relevant user groups or professional organizations to stay current on best practices and industry developments.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in health care, IT or business-related field required.
Minimum of five to seven (5-7) years of experience with PM/EHR in practice management setting.
Experience with information systems, clinical software, and other computer applications.
Prior experience with ModMed as Super user is required.
Project management experience preferred.
Must have the ability & willingness to travel to other sites as necessary within a geographic region.
