Lead and manage multiple electrical substation projects (including 110 kV substations and related systems).
Take overall responsibility for project scope, schedule, budget, and quality in accordance with the company’s Project Excellence methodology.
Manage project teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, consultants, and internal departments (procurement, design, finance, HSSEQ).
Conduct risk and opportunity assessments, proactively resolving conflicts and complex project challenges.
Oversee procurement, contractor management, and planning in collaboration with relevant internal teams.
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, including FIDIC, YSE, and other applicable contracts.
Monitor project KPIs such as schedule adherence, completion rates, resource utilisation, and budget performance.
Lead initiatives to continuously improve project processes, reporting, and financial performance.
Travel to project sites as required (primarily southern Finland, with occasional northern projects).
Requirements
Several years of experience managing demanding industrial or infrastructure projects, with experience in electrical substations.
Proven track record in projects with budgets of 5-10M€ or strategically significant projects.
Experience working with both domestic and international clients.
Familiarity with FIDIC, YSE, and fixed-fee contracts and experience in contract management and claims handling.
Technical degree in electrical, civil, or relevant engineering discipline.
Prior hands-on experience as a project manager or site manager in electrical substations or high-voltage systems.
