Legal Advisor – EL/PL

Role Overview

• Manage high volumes of EL/PL claims from inception to settlement.
• Ensure customers receive the right outcomes and services.
• Handle case management through tasks and client communications.
• Assess claims accurately through reviews and progress tracking.
• Provide exceptional customer service and manage expectations effectively.
• Collaborate within team to ensure efficient case handling and outcomes.

Requirements

• Manage incoming/outgoing calls acting as the first point of contact for new claim enquiries related to EL/PL.
• Provide initial legal advice and funding, draft initial claim notifications, and contribute to departmental success.
• Deliver excellent client care to clients suffering injuries from accidents.
• Identify litigation opportunities to ensure appropriate claim progression.
• Deal with high volumes of claims, following relevant processes and best practices.
• Ownership of ensuring right outcomes and optimized customer claims.
• Work in Proclaim task delegation system for productive case management.
• Assess liability and quantum, review medical reports.
• Obtain relevant information and accurately assess next steps for claims.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills to handle customer queries.
• Work with task-based case management system to maintain proactive contact with customers.
• Perform in a target-oriented environment.
• Undertake other relevant tasks as deemed reasonable by the business.
