Requesting defense supporting materials and participating in strategy: In our team you will liaise with various internal areas, especially HR, to gather supporting materials for defense in labor lawsuits, gaining experience and a broad view of the business.
Organization of representation documents: improving review skills and attention to detail regarding powers of attorney and other authorization documents, which are fundamental in legal practice.
Processing legal publications: receiving, classifying, and distributing legal notices/publications to in-house attorneys, ensuring compliance with deadlines and legal requirements, which strengthens organizational skills and the management of procedural information.
Case tracking and system updates: supporting attorneys in updating internal systems by entering case events and recording recovered amounts, gaining familiarity with case management and legal software.
Monitoring weekly payments and court deposits: liaising with partner law firms to obtain payment spreadsheets, compiling and organizing amounts related to cases, and forwarding this information to in-house attorneys for control, developing skills in financial management and analysis of judicial payments.
Requirements
Law students currently in their 3rd or 4th year.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel).
English is not required but is an advantage.
