Responsible for the financial bookkeeping of three entities (Nobi NV, Nobi USA Inc and Nobi Smart Lamps Limited).
Ensure that the daily accounting and monthly closing runs accurately and effectively.
Invoice management: process incoming invoices, verify accuracy of billing data, and update records with new invoices and expenses.
Ensure timely payment of all vendor invoices and maintain accounts payable ledger.
Payments: upload payment files and ad hoc payments to the bank software and follow up on approval of these payments.
Bookkeeping: maintain detailed and accurate records of all financial transactions.
Account reconciliation: perform regular bank reconciliations and reconcile credit card statements to ensure all transactions are recorded accurately in the financial system.
Tax filing assistance: prepare and assist with the filing of tax forms, such as VAT returns, service tax returns, and other statutory filings.
Audit preparation: support audit activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations.
Inventory management.
Assure timely monthly closing, assist in ad hoc analyses.
Work closely with the AR/AP accountant to ensure qualitative and timely processing of financial transactions.
Work with the financial controller to upgrade and optimize processes.
Align with other departments as financial business partner
Requirements
Bachelor degree
At least 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in an international context
Excellent knowledge of general accounting principles
Good knowledge of VAT legislation and tax law
Analytical and precise
Enjoy working with Excel and common software packages and digital tools
Experience with Odoo is a plus but not a requirement
Flexible and can handle change
Team player who thinks along with the company
Self-starter and enjoys completing own projects independently
