Analyze, mine, and document complex healthcare claims and authorization datasets to identify patterns and trends using scripting, data blending, visualization, and statistical programming tools
Translate high‑level business problems into data‑driven insights, potential strategies, and actionable solutions
Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs, validate data sources, acquire datasets, and organize data into accessible, analysis‑ready formats
Interpret analytical results and present findings as compelling data stories that answer stakeholder questions and support decision‑making at all organizational levels
Identify and resolve complex business challenges through data analytics, statistical modeling, and appropriate methodological approaches
Perform ad hoc analyses of varying complexity, delivering clear, timely, and actionable insights aligned with business objectives
Provide detailed status updates and reporting on project progress, including task-level time allocation and milestones
Coordinate, guide, and mentor analytics work performed by internal staff and external consultants to ensure accurate and timely project delivery
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Math, Business, Health Informatics, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience
High school diploma or GED required
2 years of work experience in healthcare analytics
Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship
Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Effective communicator able to translate and explain technical data and insights to non-technical audience
Knowledge of pharmacy benefit structures, drug pricing and claims processing
Familiarity with drug coding systems (NDC) and medical coding (ICD, CPT, HCPCS)
