About this role
Role Overview
- Design, build, and maintain AWS-based infrastructure for high-performance analytics platforms
- Use Terraform for Infrastructure as Code to ensure scalable and reproducible deployments
- Implement and optimize Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration
- Automate CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and alerting processes
- Configure and manage databases including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Kafka
- Ensure cloud security, cost optimization, and disaster recovery practices
- Contribute to backend development using Scala and Python
- Develop and maintain APIs, microservices, and data pipelines
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure code quality and smooth CI/CD integration
- Support cross-functional teams with scalable technical solutions
Requirements
- Strong DevOps expertise in AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes (EKS preferred)
- Experience with databases such as MongoDB and PostgreSQL, and messaging systems like Kafka
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions preferred)
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Linux-based containers, and infrastructure automation
- Solid understanding of monitoring and logging frameworks
- Experience in development and debugging of JVM-based applications (Scala preferred) and Python applications.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and data-intensive backend systems
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
