About this role
Role Overview
As Cloud Engineer , your mission is to elevate our SaaS-product by modernizing and scaling our platform.
You will take complete ownership of our 100% cloud-based infrastructure on AWS.
Your focus will be on maintaining the seamless operation of our platform while driving continuous improvements to enhance its modernization.
Collaborating closely with our software development teams , you will play a pivotal role in fostering and advancing a genuine DevOps culture across the organization.
Your efforts will ensure that our platform not only operates efficiently but also evolves to meet the growing demands of our users and the rapidly changing technological landscape.
You will working on continuously improving our AWS infrastructure, considering scalability, maintainability and security.
Administering and monitoring: This included managing Windows, SQL Server, Linux servers and Kubernetes (EKS) clusters.
Manage infrastructure focused projects, i.e. design, testing, monitoring and security.
Together with our Platform team you will evaluate and iterate on strategies to improve our DevOps practices and execute on them in order to facilitate DevOps across the organization.
Requirements
5+ years of experience working with a public cloud platform (AWS/GCP)
Strong experience with AWS networking (VPC/subnets/routing/security groups), EC2/Auto Scaling, fine-tuning S3 tiers, RDS (backup/restore, patching, performance), EKS configuration and maintenance
Nice to have: hands-on production experience with CloudFront/CDN, ElastiCache, Lambda, SQS/SNS
Working experience setting up, running and maintaining Windows Servers within a public cloud
An analytical, inventive and forward thinking mind
Experienced setting up CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps/Github
Docker, K8s, Helm, Argocd
Infrastructure as code (Terraform/CloudFormation, Ansible/Chef/Puppet)
Deployment, monitoring, and application management scripting skills (PowerShell/Bash/Python)
Good communication skills in English.
