Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of scalable full-stack applications using .NET and Next.js
Provide technical leadership across projects, ensuring best practices in performance, security, scalability, and maintainability
Design and implement cloud-native solutions on Azure, including App Services, Front Door, and Azure SQL
Guide engineers through code reviews, technical mentoring, and architectural guidance
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals
Define and maintain engineering standards, CI/CD practices, and development workflows
Oversee system reliability, monitoring, and observability using Azure tools such as Application Insights
Support the design and implementation of real-time features using technologies such as SignalR (websockets)
Lead integrations with external services including authentication platforms and payment systems
Identify technical risks and proactively propose solutions and mitigation strategies
Serve as a key escalation point for complex technical challenges across the team

7+ years of professional software development experience, including experience taking on technical leadership responsibilities within a team
Strong experience building backend services with .NET (preferably .NET 8)
Proficiency with Entity Framework Core and experience designing APIs using OData
Strong experience with SQL Server / Azure SQL Database
Experience building modern frontends using Next.js and component libraries such as Material UI (MUI)
Familiarity with real-time communication technologies such as SignalR or WebSockets
Experience designing and deploying applications on Microsoft Azure, including App Services, Front Door, and Application Insights
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
Experience managing infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools (Pulumi preferred)
Experience integrating third-party services such as Auth0 for authentication and Stripe or Spreedly for payment processing
Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices, including testing, security, performance optimization, and Agile methodologies
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in distributed, remote-first teams.
