Own the month-end close end-to-end, including postings, reconciliations, and balance sheet integrity
Coordinate accounting, management control, and reporting, ensuring timely and accurate updates to the CFO
Maintain tight cash and working capital control, including bank reconciliations and oversight of payables and receivables routines
Monitor financial and operational KPIs, delivering variance analysis with clear drivers and actionable recommendations
Lead margin control: track unit economics and contribution, validate cost allocations, identify leakage, and partner with Operations on fixes
Prepare budgets and periodic forecasts, supporting longer-term planning and scenario analysis
Ensure compliance with local tax obligations and statutory requirements, coordinating with external advisors as needed
Lead and develop the finance team, setting standards and ensuring consistent execution
Improve processes and controls using automation and AI, including exception-based reviews and anomaly detection to reduce errors and speed up the close
Requirements
Degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting (MBA is a plus)
Experience in a similar role covering accounting, reporting, management control, and tax compliance
Strong team leadership skills with a hands-on operating style and high ownership
Advanced Excel and data capabilities: scalable reporting, PivotTables, Power Query, and complex formulas
ERP experience
Fluent spoken and written English
Short-term property management, boutique hotel, or broader hotel finance experience with strong understanding of operational drivers of margin
