You'll own 1-2 research projects over the course of the internship, with the possibility of a hybrid research and design execution project
Across projects you'll plan and conduct user research, synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into clear, actionable insights, present findings to cross-functional stakeholders, and collaborate with the Product Design Team on design artifacts where applicable
Example projects might include:
Website Reader Experience Audit
-Dig into how subscribers read, understand click, and value content across our web portfolio (Morning Brew, Retail Brew, Tech Brew, etc.)
-Identify patterns by segment and surface actionable opportunities for editorial and product teams
Recirculation Sections Discovery Research and Design
-Explore how readers understand and interact with the recommendations section on our site
-Combine analytics review, surveys, and user interviews to understand what drives engagement and propose or prototype design solutions
Requirements
A current junior or senior enrolled in a relevant degree program
Self-directed and comfortable navigating ambiguity
Collaborative by nature and energized by working across teams
You ask good questions and follow them through to actionable answers
You care about craft and want to do meaningful work, not just check boxes
