Setting up German payroll rules, tax parameters, and social security contributions within the payroll system.
Running test payroll cycles, troubleshooting discrepancies, and documenting fixes or configuration changes.
Meeting with clients to clarify requirements, provide updates, or guide them through statutory processes and deadlines.
Collaborating with internal teams, such as Product, Commercial and Operations teams, to resolve technical or legislative queries.
Conducting training sessions or walkthroughs to help clients understand payroll outputs and system functionality.
Monitoring project timelines, preparing status reports, and ensuring key milestones are completed on schedule.
Staying updated on changes to German payroll legislation and evaluating their impact on active implementations.
Requirements
Considerable experience in processing German payroll and implementations, with strong knowledge of payroll-related legislation, taxation rules, and social security requirements.
Excellent numerical skills with a strong emphasis on quality and accuracy.
A genuine and committed focus on delivering the highest standards of customer service, willing to go above and beyond to ensure customer needs are central to every action.
Exceptionally high attention to detail, with the ability to spot errors or identify when things “just don’t look right” and the drive to follow these through to resolution.
Strong competency with databases, systems, and software packages, especially Microsoft Excel.
Ability to manage multiple and often conflicting deadlines and tasks with a focus on service delivery.
