Collaborates with leaders to identify and pursue strategic growth opportunities, including service line development, network integration, outpatient behavioral health services, joint ventures, and coordinated care models.
Leads and manages Business Development leaders within the assigned region, ensuring accountability, coaching, and high performance.
Analyzes internal and external data sources to assess market opportunities, industry trends, and competitive dynamics to support strategic decision-making.
Partners with operational and financial leaders to ensure accurate forecasting, pro forma modeling, goal setting, and development of performance metrics for key initiatives.
Works with subject matter experts in areas such as strategic planning, managed care, service line development, and acquisitions to enhance planning and execution.
Collaborates with cross-functional leaders to evaluate, plan, and implement strategic initiatives across the division.
Drives execution of growth strategies by providing expert guidance to leaders, building consensus, and monitoring progress toward timelines and deliverables.
Identifies barriers to progress and proactively troubleshoots obstacles to ensure successful deployment of business development initiatives.
Motivates, influences, and engages team members and partners to support business development priorities and achieve growth goals.
Tracks and evaluates the performance of strategic initiatives, including volume trends, market share, quality outcomes, financial results, and operational benchmarks.
Develops innovative, forward-looking strategies that enhance market competitiveness and strengthen the division’s overall business development efforts.
Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal leaders, community partners, referral sources, and strategic stakeholders to support growth objectives.
Ensures alignment of business development initiatives with organizational priorities, clinical excellence, and compliance requirements.
Prepares and presents detailed business cases, reports, and recommendations to executive leadership to guide strategic planning and investment decisions.
Supports the transition of new business development opportunities into operationalized, sustainable programs in partnership with clinical and operational leaders.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, marketing or related field from an accredited school required.
Master's degree from an accredited school preferred.
5 years of experience in healthcare business development, marketing, and/or strategy required.
Experience in the field of behavioral health required.
Regional business development experience required.
Proven ability to drive organizational performance and lead complex, cross-functional projects.
