Support material planning for items produced locally
Monitor and control disposal of steel and chemical scrap
Follow up with the Procurement department
Monitor production (actual vs. planned)
Ensure accuracy of in-process material inventories
Monitor the industrialization of materials at third-party suppliers
Support management of production KPIs and metrics
Support production leaders and the production team with daily activities and controls
Record daily produced materials in the ERP system (SAP)
Analyze recorded data to identify variances between actual and theoretical figures for decision-making
Create new product master records – codes – LT & RO
Work with Engineering and Maintenance teams on improvement projects, including operational improvements, cost reductions, and quality or safety enhancements
Inform the Commercial/Sales team about order fulfillment lead times and any rescheduling
Support or conduct cycle counts/inventories for in-process stock and non-conforming/development inventory
Support the costing/controllership team by reporting changes to structures, work centers, and other items.
Requirements
High school diploma
Preferably currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, technical training, Business Administration, Logistics, or related fields
Knowledge of SAP
Knowledge of Lean, Kanban, Just in Time, Time & Methods, Process Management
Minimum 2 years of experience in production planning or materials planning
