About this role
Role Overview
- Define and evolve backend architecture in AWS environments, ensuring adherence to best practices;
- Act as the team's technical reference, supporting strategic decisions and guiding development standards;
- Solve high-complexity challenges related to performance, scalability and security;
- Ensure solution quality through coding best practices, automated tests and code reviews;
- Support the development and maintenance of RESTful APIs and integrations within a microservices architecture;
- Monitor, optimize and ensure observability of services in production;
- Lead initiatives related to messaging and distributed architecture;
- Collaborate with cross-functional areas to maintain critical environments and support technical decision-making.
Requirements
- Advanced programming in Java 17+ and strong experience with Spring Boot
- Development, consumption and documentation of RESTful APIs
- Proficiency in AWS services used for backend (EKS, ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS)
- Knowledge of microservices architectures and distributed systems
- Experience with messaging and system integration
- Security practices applied to backend development
- Monitoring, performance and observability techniques in production
- Experience with agile methodologies and code versioning in collaborative teams.
