Support development and execution of energy strategies that enable delivery of power infrastructure for new data center campuses
Conduct analysis of power markets, utility territories, and grid infrastructure to inform siting and development decisions; leverage third party siting tools to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Support evaluation of load interconnection pathways, including timelines, risks, and cost drivers across utilities
Develop analytical models to estimate cost of power, infrastructure requirements, and key commercial considerations across markets
Compile and maintain insights on utility processes, transmission constraints, substation capacity, and generation buildout
Track market activity, including hyperscaler and developer expansion, and monitor regulatory and tariff developments impacting large loads
Support cross-functional teams in project diligence, site evaluation, and energy-related decision-making
Prepare clear, structured materials and insights to support internal strategy discussions and external engagements
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., engineering, economics, finance, business, or similar)
1–4 years of experience in energy markets, utilities, infrastructure, consulting, or a related analytical field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Excel (Python or similar tools a plus)
Ability to structure complex, ambiguous problems and communicate insights clearly and concisely
Interest in power markets, grid infrastructure, and large-scale energy use cases such as data centers
Experience working across multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
Familiarity with U.S. power markets, utility rate structures, or interconnection processes.
