Role Overview
- Structure and maintain databases for regulatory analyses;
- Develop data-processing automation, exploratory analyses, and econometric modeling;
- Execute econometric simulations and statistical analyses;
- Produce reports and executive materials using advanced Excel and/or Power BI;
- Create prompts for AI use and demonstrate interest in the subject.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics/Econometrics, Data Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Data programming in R and/or Python applied to analytics (data manipulation, analysis, automation). Applied statistics/econometrics (hypothesis definition, regression, coefficient interpretation, validation and testing).
- Advanced Excel (PowerPivot or equivalent) and strong data organization. Ability to document analyses and ensure reproducibility (scripts/routines, versioning, data dictionary).
- Clear technical writing and a quality-oriented mindset (attention to detail, consistency checks, traceability).
**Preferred qualifications
- Experience in the electric power sector and/or regulatory/regulated markets consulting.
- Power BI (or a similar BI tool) and dashboard development.
- SQL and an understanding of data modeling.
- Sector-specific and regulatory knowledge.
- Familiarity with applying AI to analytical work, with a critical approach and validation of results.
