About this role
Role Overview
- ✨ Day-to-day:
- Design, build, and maintain distributed, mission-critical systems;
- Ensure availability, scalability, and reliability of applications running on AWS Cloud;
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure efficient integration;
- Manage and optimize databases (SQL and NoSQL);
- Monitor and track the performance and health of provided applications and services;
- Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
Requirements
- 📝 To excel in this role, you will need:
- Professional experience administering networks and Linux servers;
- Experience with Shell scripting (bash);
- Experience with Python;
- Experience with Nginx;
- Experience with databases (SQL / NoSQL);
- Experience with Git;
- Experience with Docker;
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform);
- Experience with AWS Cloud;
- Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum);
- Strong focus on technical excellence and security best practices;
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- 💌 Nice to have:
- Experience with microservices or distributed systems;
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration tools such as AWS ECS and Kubernetes (EKS);
- Experience scaling applications horizontally and vertically;
- Experience with infrastructure and application monitoring and observability;
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins;
- Experience with Kong Gateway.
