Develop and implement detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases for new and existing product features.
Work alongside developers to manually test new features during the development process.
Test software applications on mobile devices and report and gather information to help debug issues.
Work closely with the development and product teams to resolve issues quickly and efficiently and implement corrective and preventative actions as required.
Triage, reproduce and debug technical support request and bugs.
Maintain regression test scripts/testing scenarios and criteria.
Requirements
Applicants must currently be based in the EEA and currently have a valid working visa to enable them to provide services to an Irish company (note Ireland does not participate in the EU Blue Card Scheme).
You have a minimum of 5 years hands-on experience with manual testing, testing applications, and automation as a QA Engineer.
You have good programming ability, ideally with some experience in both backend and frontend development for external end users.
You have experience in writing test plans and cases from specifications or verbal communications.
You have experience with mobile app testing, integration testing and API testing, which will require a good depth and breadth of technical knowledge.
You have a good understanding of continuous integration and delivery tools e.g. AWS Code Pipelines, Jenkins, Bitrise.
You are fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
You work very well within an agile environment and can collaborate and provide feedback to other team members in a multinational and cross functional environment.
You are able to solve problems and enjoy learning new concepts.
You are passionate about quality with a keen eye for detail.
Prior experience in a security conscious environment an advantage.
ISTQB or similar certification an advantage.
