You will take on operational controlling for areas such as projects, sales or procurement, ensuring transparency in figures, KPIs and results.
You will prepare monthly reports, forecasts and variance analyses (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and present decision-ready results to stakeholders.
You will build out KPI and business-unit reporting, maintain KPI systems and provide well-founded recommendations for action.
You will contribute to budget planning and development and support financial closings (monthly/quarterly/annual) as well as audits under HGB (German Commercial Code).
You will drive process and methodology optimizations in Controlling/FP&A and the finance organization — including digitization, tool development and automation.
You will provide commercial support for the integration of merged companies/acquisitions and bring the finance perspective into group-wide projects.
In Accounting you will handle tasks such as accounts payable/accounts receivable, GL coding/postings, master data maintenance, payment runs, account reconciliations as well as travel expenses/expense claims/corporate credit cards.
In Billing you will be responsible for contract and order setup, timely invoicing of services, handling invoice disputes and optimizing processes for greater efficiency.
Requirements
Commercial training or degree (e.g., Business Administration/Economics) with a focus on Finance/Accounting/Controlling — or an equivalent qualification
Experience in at least one area: Controlling/FP&A, Reporting/KPI, Financial Accounting, Billing (junior to senior levels considered)
Very confident user of Excel and MS Office; experience with ERP/financial accounting (FiBu) systems and BI/planning tools is a plus (e.g., Power BI/Qlik/Tableau/Lucanet/Diamant or similar)
Strong numerical aptitude, structured working style and the ability to independently identify, analyze issues and derive solutions
Professional communication skills — you can explain numbers clearly and are a reliable point of contact for internal stakeholders
Business-fluent German and good to very good English skills (depending on role)
