Accounting

Role Overview

• Processing accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Assisting management with the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
• Posting bank statements and petty cash transactions
• Preparing payment runs
• Fixed asset accounting
• Maintaining master data
• Processing travel expense reports
• Preparing VAT advance returns
• Point of contact for management, tax advisor, tax office and banks
• Internal and external correspondence
• Acting as backup for a colleague in payroll accounting

Requirements

• Completed commercial apprenticeship (ideally with a qualification in financial accounting) or equivalent qualification required
• Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping and SKR03
• Professional experience in financial accounting and, if applicable, preparation of annual financial statements (ideally within corporate groups)
• Strong numerical aptitude
• Basic knowledge of tax law
• Independent, reliable, flexible and solution-oriented
• Desirable: experience with Lexware as well as Excel and Word
• Good German language skills, both written and spoken
