Planning, managing, and executing client-facing events and experiential opportunities
Owning and leading the end-to-end strategic planning, execution, and evaluation of a portfolio of client events, including seminars, conferences, sponsorships, and hospitality experiences
Acting as a strategic advisor to partners and senior stakeholders on event strategy, format, audience targeting, and execution
Partnering with Business Development colleagues to understand strategic objectives across practices, industries, and markets, and curating event strategies that align with those goals
Providing senior-level oversight of event logistics and execution during the planning process and on-site, proactively identifying and resolving risks or issues
Leading event budgeting and financial oversight, including budget development, spend tracking, vendor negotiations, and post-event return on investment (ROI) reporting
Partnering with Business Development, Brand & Communications, and other internal teams to ensure consistent branding and integrated communications
Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent
An events qualification, preferably
A minimum of six (6) years of experience in a law firm or other professional services environment, preferably
A minimum of seven (7) years of cumulative experience
