Orchestrate Outcomes: Continuously evaluate pricing to ensure our value proposition remains competitive while protecting economics and margin; identify and realize upsell opportunities and increase wallet share.
Contractual Renewal: Lead and oversee commercial and contractual renewal cycles, including pricing strategy and complex commercial negotiations, using data and market insights to make high-level decisions on margins and discounts.
Senior Stakeholder Partnership: Act as the primary commercial point of contact and trusted partner for senior sponsors and decision-makers within the assigned Commercial territory/segment including Partners, Managing Directors, and Procurement leaders.
Strategic Growth Planning: Own the revenue budget, retention, and expansion of the business with key existing clients within the assigned Commercial territory, aligning account plans to market opportunities and Commercial objectives.
Full-Cycle Acquisition: Drive new client and partner acquisition within the assigned segment, managing the entire sales cycle—from prospecting and senior-level pitches to negotiations and post-trial ramp-ups.
Demand Generation: Unlock new demand opportunities within existing accounts to elevate our value proposition and unlock new revenue streams.
Market Ambassadorship: Act as a visible ambassador through regular in-person engagement to gather intelligence, strengthen senior relationships, and anticipate relationship risks.
Strategic Insights: Maintain a deep understanding of the research needs of proSapient clients or assigned clients as their territory may make up mostly consulting or PE
tbc based on the candidate too clients, sharing competitive dynamics and client insights to inform product innovation and the company roadmap.
Strategic Advisory: Partner closely with Client Services, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Product to advise on client growth strategy and planning, to achieve sustainable growth through data-driven decisions.
Organizational Alignment: Refine go-to-market strategies and ensure effective positioning of new and existing services by aligning internal capabilities with market demands (including client-led insights).
Internal Mentorship: Act as a mentor and subject matter expert for the wider business, contributing to the development of commercial functions and a strong, high-performance culture.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum three years in a commercial and/or client-facing role with an active network and established relationships within Consulting and/or Private Equity firms to tap into.
Segment Expertise: Essential success in a commercial and account management role management role growing key accounts specifically within Private Equity and Consulting.
Scale-up Mindset: Experienced Individual Contributor in a high-growth environment, balancing strategy with tactical delivery with the “business owner mindset”
Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in the Expert Network field (or similar information services/alternative data) is preferred.
Mobility: Must be able to travel across North America; ideally located in a proSapient hub (Toronto preferred).
