Mid-level Solutions Architect

Role Overview

• Correlate complex databases (OSS/BSS, inventory systems, monitoring platforms, billing, HLR/HSS, MSC, MGW, multi-vendor PBXs, among others).
• Develop dashboards, reports and automations to track progress of decommissioning and technology migration activities.
• Create and maintain consolidated datasets that support critical analyses: impacted customers, legacy features, dependencies, sensitive services and risks.
• Identify inconsistencies, duplicates and gaps in datasets, proposing models for data quality and governance.
• Support strategic decisions through structured quantitative analyses and predictive models (where applicable).
• Automate repetitive routines using Python, SQL and ETL tools.
• Assist in the design and prioritization of decommissioning waves by cluster, region or technology.
• Ensure traceability and versioning of the datasets used, with a complete change history.
• Prepare executive materials and dashboards for senior management, including status, risks and operational insights.
• Work integrated with PMO, Engineering, Operations and Customer areas to mitigate impacts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology or related fields.
• Knowledge of agile and traditional methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills, organization and ability to handle multiple simultaneous demands.
• Advanced SQL proficiency (complex joins, modeling, query optimization).
• Python for automation, ETL, data analysis and handling large volumes of data. Experience with ETL/ELT processes.
• Solid knowledge of data modeling (dimensional, relational, schema design).
• Desired: Knowledge of Mobile network technologies: HLR/HSS, VLR, SGSN, MGW, MSC, BSC, OSS, PCRF/PCF.
• Fixed network: OLT, DSLAM, MSAN, inventory platforms, provisioning systems.
• Desired: Experience in technology migrations (2G/3G shutdowns, copper → fiber, legacy voice → IMS).
• Familiarity with data pipelines, version control (Git) and technical documentation.
• Power BI or Tableau for creating executive and operational dashboards.
