About this role

Act as a sparring partner and strengthen our specialist departments
Participate in projects related to functional safety
Support hazard analyses (HAZOP/PAAG) and risk assessments, including risk analysis, risk evaluation and allocation of protective functions together with our customers
Independently perform tasks in the areas of Engineering, Testing and Documentation, including verification and testing processes
Support project leadership and project coordination
Contribute to the development, enhancement and optimization of management processes (FSM)
Prepare functional safety documentation

Technical qualification as a technician/master in electrical or automation engineering, or a degree in electrical or automation engineering, or equivalent knowledge
Enthusiasm for safety in the process industry (EN 61511)
Knowledge of relevant sections of common safety standards; certification as a Functional Safety Professional/Engineer is an advantage
Enjoy working as part of a team and tackling challenges together
Positive demeanor and enthusiasm for communication and professional exchange
