Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for localization projects.
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
Serve as the main point of contact for all localization-related inquiries.
Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress and any potential risks.
Analyze existing localization workflows and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Stay updated on localization trends and tools to implement best practices.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Translation, Linguistics, Project Management, communication).
5+ years of experience in PM, preferably in localization or translation services.
Strong understanding of localization processes, tools, and methodologies.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, JIRA) and localization tools (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ).
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
PMP or Related Certification
Knowledge of internationalization (i18n) and Localization (L10n) best practices
Experience with Machine Translation (MT) and post-editing
Knowledge of Azure, Data Center or Training related tech translation is a plus
Knowledge of AIGC/LLM translation is a plus
Cloud Products / documentation Loc PM experience is a big plus
