provide risk management and quality support to the PSA teams
review drafts of engagement contracts and documents for final client negotiation
support teams in managing engagement letters and risks with public sector frameworks
educate and coach client-facing teams for enhanced risk awareness
develop and maintain training materials and present relevant training sessions
ensure required controls are implemented by client-facing teams
identify and manage emerging risks
contribute ideas for better operation of PSA AQ and client-facing teams
work collaboratively with central support teams to overcome challenges
develop guidance materials and resources including template documentation
support service line file review and monitoring procedures
Requirements
a professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, ICAS) together with experience of working in an assurance or advisory business unit of a professional services firm
a legal/risk management background with experience of advising on contracts and developing policies
a role within public sector procurement leading on contract management
project management experience
experience of working in or advising teams involved in professional services delivery
experience of drafting and/or reviewing contractual terms
a positive, proactive attitude
commercially aware and recognize the need to balance risk with reward
good attention to detail with a big picture perspective
an awareness of ethical principles that apply to professional services firms
ability to communicate effectively with a flexible and agile approach
interest in developing digital solutions to improve work processes
