Role Overview
- Work across four directorates: Economics, Financial Markets, Money and Cash, and Financial Market Infrastructures and Settlements.
- Apply knowledge from studies in economics or finance to real‑world policy and research questions.
- Contribute to shaping how money and payments function in a modern economy and support a resilient and effective financial system.
Requirements
- Postgraduate degree in economics, finance, or a similar quantitative field
- Available to work full-time from early 2027 in Pōneke | Wellington or Tāmaki Makaurau | Auckland.
- Graduated within the past two years obtaining your highest qualification by February 2027.
- Attained a B+ or higher-grade average from previous 12 months study.
- Must be a NZ citizen, NZ permanent resident or holder of a valid work visa allowing full-time employment.
