5 years of experience in investment advisory, wealth management, financial planning or similar role
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Pleasant telephone manner and an ability to keep client conversations on track
Strong knowledge of financial products, investment strategies and market trends
Working knowledge of investment and retirement planning to meet the needs of clients
Strong sales record
Strong organizational skills
Ability to take initiative and work independently
Ability to meet deadlines and targets
Strong understanding of industry and firm compliance regulations
Education and Accreditations: Canadian Securities Course (CSC) completed
Conduct & Practices Handbook course (CPH) completed
Wealth Management Essentials course (WME) completed or enrolled
Life Licence Qualification Program course (LLQP) completed (asset)
Preference will be given to applicants that are already licensed with CIRO as Investment Representative (IR) or Registered Representative (RR)
Preference will be given to applicants with the following designation, CLU®, F.Pl., PFP®, QAFP® and/or CFP® designations
Bilingual [French/English] is an asset
