Role Overview
- Lead accounting during a period of transition
- Ensure accuracy in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
- Manage external auditors and maintain a 'Zero-Finding' record
- Implement and enforce group-wide accounting standards
- Drive subsidiary consolidation and reporting
- Optimize financial workflows and tax compliance
- Mentor senior accounting team
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Group Controlling or Audit (Big 4 background is a massive plus)
- Knowledge in local GAAP (HGB)
- Knowledge in IFRS is a big plus
- Experience with ERP systems like DATEV or Lucanet
- Fluent in German and English
