About this role
Role Overview
Responsible for the registration & processing of purchase orders and invoices
Verify supplier/sub-contractor details
Process payments by BACS transfer for invoices
Assist with monthly filing of CIS tax returns
Daily processing, scanning, and indexing of purchase orders and purchase ledger invoices
Collate necessary information to set up new suppliers
Undertake twice-weekly selection of payment runs
Deal with internal and external Accounts Payable queries
Administer the Construction Industry Scheme
Provide support for banking processing as required.
Requirements
Strong attention to detail
Good organisational skills
Confident communicator
Previous experience of working in an Accounts Payable environment
Knowledge of the CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) helpful but not essential
Good IT skills, particularly Excel and Word.
