Lead the acquisition and leasing of trucks and trailers
Identify and evaluate suppliers and vendors for trucks and trailers
Negotiate purchase prices, lease agreements, and financing terms with vendors and lenders
Manage the full procurement process, from vendor selection to equipment delivery
Ensure all acquisitions align with company budgets, operational needs, and strategic plans
Oversee and optimize leasing strategies to support operational requirements
Evaluate and compare lease offers to secure favorable terms
Monitor lease agreements and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure leased assets meet company standards
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, lenders, and leasing partners
Conduct regular performance evaluations and negotiate improvements where needed
Stay informed on market trends, pricing developments, and industry advancements
Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies and relevant regulations
Maintain accurate and organized records of contracts, transactions, and financial agreements
Prepare reports and provide insights to senior management on procurement performance and financial commitments

Proven experience in procurement, preferably within transportation or logistics
Strong understanding of fleet management, leasing models, and financing structures
Demonstrated negotiation and contract management skills
Solid financial and analytical capabilities
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
High level of organization and attention to detail.
