You independently handle ongoing financial accounting, including reviewing, classifying, and posting incoming and outgoing invoices.
You regularly reconcile general and subsidiary ledgers and clear open items.
You actively participate in the in-house accounting project and support the implementation and optimization of internal finance and accounting processes.
You prepare month-end and year-end closing documentation by preparing entries and compiling relevant documents.
You support controlling through budget vs. actual comparisons, cost analyses and regular reports.
You prepare ad-hoc analyses and evaluations for internal and external stakeholders.
You maintain and further develop internal reporting, including reporting structures in Power BI.
You assist with business planning and take on general administrative tasks within the finance area.
Requirements
You have a degree in business administration with a focus on finance and accounting or a commercial apprenticeship.
You have around 2–3 years of professional experience in financial accounting and have already worked independently on operational accounting tasks.
You have solid knowledge of general and subsidiary ledger accounting and practical experience in preparing month-end or year-end closings.
You have experience in reporting or controlling, or a strong interest in developing skills in this area.
You are proficient with DATEV and Excel; experience with Power BI is a plus.
You have very good German and good English skills; additional languages are welcome.
