Work proactively with OEM engineering (R&D) department/Aftersales service department to collect the technical design inputs to start the content authoring
Writing/maintaining the technical instructions (Operating manual/Quick guides/Service & Maintenance manual/Parts catalog Manual) and illustrations, Proof reading the technical publications
Keep close communication with the client to review the developed content to make sure the content is accurate and delivered as scheduled
Drive the process of content development from authoring, engineering review, editing updates to release
Requirements
College degree or above
Mechanical design/Manufacturing/Electric are preferred
3+ years’ experience within the service industry (or working as Service engineer or technician)
Technical manuals and catalog development experience is preferred
Familiar with some of the XML editors/illustration tools/CMS and Authoring software
Expert in developing structured and reusable content using XML/DITA/S1000D is preferred
High-level English language skills (CET-4 and above) and 1 year+ working experience using English as the working language
Proactive communication both within the project team internally and with the client externally
Process and quality oriented in the daily work
