Role Overview
- Provide a clinical assessment to determine the level of behavioral health and substance use services needed
- Maintain a therapeutic and safe environment while persons supported receive services
- Participate in team meetings, and discharge planning for all individuals served
- Perform interviews with individuals and/or families to aid in assessing mental status and dangerousness
- Provide expertise in assessing psychiatric crises and crisis intervention
- Maintain necessary medical records in compliance with state, federal, and agency guidelines
- Assist individuals and families in meeting other psychosocial needs
- Provide crisis assessments, stabilization, and service coordination
Requirements
- Masters: Human Services (Required)
- Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor
- Associate (LCMHC-A)
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker
- Associate (LCSW-A)
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
- Associate (LMFT-A)
- 1 Year of experience in a crisis management setting or service during which the individual provided crisis response | Required
