Business development & client acquisition: You identify new business opportunities, manage your pipeline and forecast, expand long-term client relationships, and take full responsibility for acquiring projects in the Operations area.
Key account development: You systematically develop key accounts and expand our network within the DACH region's industry.
Strategic partnerships: You develop pioneering strategies together with C‑level decision‑makers, support complex transformation programs in manufacturing, and ensure sustainable impact.
Production consulting: You design and implement programs for Operational Excellence (e.g., Lean, TPM, OEE), Smart/Digital Factory (e.g., MES, Analytics, Automation), production planning & control, footprint and capacity optimization, and similar initiatives.
Team leadership & development: You embody our corporate culture as a leader, further expand the Competence Center and coach the Competence Center leadership in developing the team.
Thought leadership: You position TMG Consultants as a thought leader in production consulting, develop innovative consulting approaches and represent the company at the highest level.
Entrepreneurial responsibility: You actively contribute to the company’s financial success, take responsibility for growth and results for the Operations portfolio and participate in shaping strategic company decisions.
Innovation & excellence: As a member of the partner circle, you continuously advance our consulting methods, sharpen our Operations methodology toolbox and set new standards for outstanding client service.
Requirements
Several years of experience in a leadership role within management consulting with proven success in client acquisition and project ownership, with a focus on production/operations.
Strong expertise in manufacturing and strategic thinking with the ability to understand and shape complex interdependencies.
Excellent academic degree (preferably a doctorate) in a relevant discipline from a reputable university.
Outstanding commercial skills (pipeline management, value propositions, proposals & pricing, C‑level negotiations) and a robust professional network.
Excellent ability to build and maintain strategic client relationships at C‑level.
Authentic leadership style with the ability to inspire teams and enable peak performance.
Outstanding presentation and communication skills in German and English.
Passion for business development and readiness to take responsibility.
