Lead and develop a team of Product Managers responsible for the design, delivery, and optimization of returns processing and reverse inventory movement capabilities — including disposition decisioning, routing logic, and recovery-based models across Nordstrom’s returns network.
Own and drive the returns product roadmap — translating strategic direction into a well-sequenced, executable plan with clear milestones, measurable outcomes, and accountable owners.
Collaborate with peers and leaders across the enterprise — including Inventory and Supply Chain — to define product vision, align on priorities, and ensure outcomes support Nordstrom’s enterprise goals.
Translate ambiguous business challenges into actionable product frameworks and measurable KPIs tied to returns throughput, recovery rates, cost reduction, and processing speed.
Partner with Data Science and Engineering teams to design intelligent systems and data models that enable dynamic disposition routing, exception handling, and data-driven decision-making across the returns lifecycle.
Monitor and identify operational and customer needs, staying current on industry trends and translating them into product innovation and roadmap adjustments.
Define and monitor key performance indicators for product performance, ensuring continuous improvement through data-driven insight.
Hire, coach, and supervise an efficient and high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration.
Champion the development of enterprise product standards and governance models for reverse inventory movement that scale across channels and operational sites.
Requirements
8+ years of product management experience, including 4+ years leading and managing teams in technology, retail, supply chain, or operations environments.
Proven success delivering large-scale operational or data-driven systems that improve efficiency, reduce cost, or increase automation.
Deep understanding of returns, reverse logistics, inventory disposition, or supply chain operations, with the ability to translate operational complexity into scalable platform solutions.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, using data and metrics to drive decisions, validate trade-offs, and measure success.
Technical fluency — comfortable collaborating with Engineering to shape solution design and performance standards.
Excellent communication and storytelling skills; able to simplify complexity and align stakeholders from frontline operations to senior leadership around a shared vision.
Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity, define frameworks, and lead teams through change in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, engineering, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
